International workshop on the analytic potential of research data generated by SFB 882

With regard to the analytic potential of the research data generated by its projects, it is a stated goal of SFB 882 to share this data with other researchers.

In order to intensify such cooperation in the analysis of causes and consequences of social inequalities in an international context a workshop was hold in January 2014. During the workshop, the SFB´s main survey projects as well as initial results of research projects B3, B4 and A6 were presented to and discussed with international guests.

External researchers participating were Prof. Donald Tomaskovic-Devey (University of Massachusetts Amherst), Prof. Meir Yaish (University of Haifa), Prof. Sheryl L. Skaggs (University of Texas at Dallas), Prof. Vincent Roscigno (Ohio State University), Prof. Laura den Dulk (Universiteit Rotterdam), Dr. Karin Halldén (Stockholm University) und Dr. Alexandra Kalev (Tel Aviv University).
