Prof. Kim Weeden, PhD, 
Professor of Sociology, Robert S. Harrison Director of the Institute for Social Sciences at Cornell University and Director of the Center for the Study of Inequality at Cornell University will be Visiting Scholar at SFB 882 from May 31st to June 6th, 2014. In her predominantly quantitative research, Weeden studies income inequality, educational opportunities and gender segregation.
During her visit in Bielefeld she will give a lecture at the public colloquium of SFB 882 on “Closure, rents, economic inequality in Germany and the UK”.
